Willy's Whimsical Wednesday Words of Wisdom
Let's follow up with last week regarding the purchase of vacant land.
I
realize it can feel like walking uphill to school both ways. But that is
why not everyone does it. "Easily said, but we simply can't afford to
look at doing this" Take a little bit of time and break down your
personal expenses. Does the truck really need a new set of 38" rims and
tires? We are fifteen minutes from home, are you sure you need to stop
at the fast food place? There goes 15 to 40 bucks. Twice a week maybe?
There's another 80 bucks. How much food gets tossed out and wasted
because it's just not really what we want right then. Do we need to pay
for every available TV channel? Did we go to town twice because we
forgot to pick something up the first time? Maybe even a drive through
coffee everyday?
Late fees or a possible driving infraction all add up.
I'm not suggesting that we go with beans and rice everyday. Life is
supposed to be lived! But some of the things we spend money on do we
really enjoy? If you think about it, how does that compare to the
comfort of your own home or property? Not having to move because the
place you have rented for years is being sold. Balance is critical and
if you need that coffee to power through your day, by all means enjoy!
But actually enjoy it!
Have a Willy Great Day!!
