Let's talk about incrementally buying a home. What does that look
like? Is lack of home inventory, interest rates, home prices or your
current personal money flow just too overwhelming to
process right now?
Let's not take such a big bite. Look at what I call labor equity land.
I purchased my very first property and it was nothing but bare land. The next year I got a little income tax refund and I used it to put in power on the land. Two years later, I was able to save up enough to install a septic system. And finally, I had a well drilled. Took a while! But it was the only way I could afford to get where I wanted to go!! By the time I got to the house part of this equation it was not such a huge chunk to bite off. Plus, along the way I did enjoy my property! Planted a few trees. Did a little camping. Make a plan and work the plan!
