Is it scarier to walk into the dark, or walk out of the dark into the light? As Halloween approaches these are things you might want to be thinking about.

Another thing to think about is what does your chosen neighborhood or property look like at night?  What is the traffic at 5 pm vs. 9 pm on a Friday night? Is that cute little family of raccoons making their way across the lawn heading for the neighbors garbage cans? I used to really like that neighbor, but now I find out they don't eat their pizza crust. The nerve!!

I wouldn't dwell on the subject but if you are investing, in this day and age, hundreds of thousands of dollars, it might be worth a late evening drive by just to get a feel for the after hours nightlife. After all, Freddy Krueger might find you the home of your dreams!
