Willy's Whimsical Wednesday Words of Wisdom

One of my favorite off season road trip things to do is to look at vacant land during the winter months. Cus, I know how to party!! The worse the weather the better. Grab a coffee and goodies and your road trip partner and go for a drive.

Notice the winter sun doesn't clear the nearby hillside so the property is shaded in the winter months. Look at the water drizzling down the driveway that isn't shaped right. Could be a future maintenance issue. This place doesn't flood but the county culvert is plugged and the driveway has water running over it. I didn't realize the wind blew so hard at this location. Look at the backyard or livestock fields. I didn't think water would stand at that location. Or, I thought for sure this place was wet but it must have good soil because it looks high and dry.

Before you leave make sure there are no good ball games on and your DVR is set to record "The voice". Have a safe winter adventure. At the end of your drive be sure to check your vehicle's seat for all the stuff you dropped while eating and driving. We call that "Trail Mix"
